Enagaging Economics
To engage in economics through [but not limited to], training in financial literacy, seminars on changes in institutions, job fairs and career development that will help the community in being critical consumers and agents for change, whose efforts are to reduce inequality and crime.
Embracing Existence
To embrace existence through symposiums (i.e Identity Crisis, Iron Sharpens Iron, The Village etc.), that builds the moral of society with a sense of love and respect for self and community in the midst of perceived chaos (gun violence, homicides, home invasions etc.)
The H.O.O.D. Project (Helping Others Own Destiny) is based on three principles of Engaging Economics, Enhancing Education, and Embracing Existence.
What Is The H.O.O.D Project?
Enhancing Education
To enhance education in the community through peer-tutoring, seminars about colleges, technical schools, trade schools, and educational events (i.e life skills) that facilitate creative models for practical learning in the housing communities.
